Pets work a little differently in Chainbreaker- You can have multiple pets at once, from multiple different classes, and charmed mobs work very differently.

Summoning pets and charming mobs

Summoning regular pets is the same: Memorize a spell, cast it, and you have a pet. However, charming a mob doesn't put that mob under your control, but instead creates a copy of that mob under your control, named IllusoryAlly. Casting the charm usually doesn't aggro mobs, but sometimes it does. Charmed pets follow the same rules as other pets. Not all mobs can be charmed. (Most named mobs are immune to charm.) Some mobs must be charmed to do some quest turn-ins, most notably for the Enchanter epic weapon quest.
